Minecraft

Wumpo hosts Minecraft in two editions. You choose the edition when you deploy, and it decides who can join and what you can add to the world.

Java or Crossplay

• Java. For PC players on Minecraft: Java Edition, with support for mods and plugins. Choose this if your group plays on PC and wants the full modding ecosystem.
• Crossplay. A Java server set up so Bedrock players can join too, which means PC, mobile and console players can all play together in one world. Choose this if your friends are on a mix of devices. This is the popular choice for mixed groups.

Pick the edition that matches how your group plays. If some of you are on phones or consoles, go with Crossplay.

Settings you can change

From the World settings panel you can adjust the Minecraft rules, including:

• Difficulty: Peaceful, Easy, Normal or Hard.
• Game mode: Survival, Creative, Adventure or Spectator.
• Max players, up to your plan's limit.
• Server name and join password.

Changes apply on the next restart. The dashboard will prompt you to restart when you save.

Connecting

When your server is online, find its connect address on the Overview panel. Java and Bedrock players connect slightly differently; both are covered on Connecting to your server.

Bedrock-only servers

A dedicated Bedrock-only server is not offered at the moment. If your group is on consoles and mobile, use the Crossplay edition above, which lets Bedrock players join a Java world.
